Mosaics in Liberty Hall Classrooms
In the spring of the 2013/2014 school year, Mrs. O’Malley and her Level 3, 4, and 5 students created three 3’ x 3’ glass mosaics for the Liberty Hall Library. Each design was based on the literature each particular level reads. Level Three created a scene from Charlotte’s Web, Level Four’s mosaic depicts Zeus with Athena popping out of his head, and Level Five created a scene from Peter Pan. This year we will complete the project by creating three more 3’ x 3’ glass mosaics – one from each level, again with a literature theme. When completed, all six will hang brightly in the Liberty Hall Library.
