Isn’t our new theme exciting? Here at Liberty Hall, we are enthused to be talking with your scholars this fall about dreaming big, and being inspired to learn and choose excellence. There will be much to talk about as we go through the year sharing stories about men and women who had dreams and made great discoveries or came up with amazing inventions. All of these stories will be examples of dreamers who stayed determined, persevered, focused on their ideas, achieved excellence… and ultimately made a difference.
Who is your favorite inventor? What invention sparks your interest, your gratitude, or your curiosity? Is there an invention you would love to see come to fruition? Check out the bulletin board in the foyer to see your scholars’ teachers answered these same questions. If you are an inventor yourself… please come and speak to our scholars? Inspire them! Encourage them! We would love to have you!
Ideas for Learning with Liberty Hall this year!
* Follow BA Lower School on Twitter for all the upcoming news and events!! See me with any questions. Connect with Twitter on your mobile device and get reminders just in time.
* Get involved with our all school parent book discussion. We will be reading The Opposite of Spoiled, by Ron Lieber. We are having a parent discussion in March. Look for the flyer in this folder! I hope we can get our whole community reading together… and then, in April, the author will be here at BA to speak to our community. Exciting!
* Check out our list of coffees and presentations offered in the Lower School this year. Come and learn with us. The more in attendance, the more we can all learn. We so enjoy and appreciate having parents in the building.
* Hope to see you often at assembly! We try to learn something new each week – from student recitations, tricky riddles, new vocabulary, character messages, French poetry, daily prayer, and much more. We would love to have you!
“I will strive for the Stars for it is in reaching that I learn excellence and in setting goals high that I taste deeper satisfactions.”
